Did you know that every year teachers spend $500 to $1,000 of their own money on school supplies? Crayons to Computers is trying to lessen this burden by providing free supplies to the 12,000 teachers that qualify for their programs throughout 16 counties including Hamilton County.
If you are looking for a way to donate unused office supplies or want to engage your employees through volunteer efforts, consider participating in the Push 4 Pencils campaign. Your business can choose to host a supply drive or a fundraiser, with the supplies and funds going to provide students with the tools needed to succeed in school. More information can be found on the flyer below.
The top items that teachers request are crayons, dry erase markers, filler paper, glue sticks, notebooks, pencils, and pocket folders. For more information about how to join the Push 4 Pencils campaign or what other office-related items Crayons to Computers can accept for donation, email Betsy Wilson or call 513-482-3290.
